ABOUT OUR TEAM
Creativity-AI-Colab is a joint laboratory established by researchers from three different universities in China and the United States. The co-lab focuses on exploring the methods and paths of collaborative creativity between humans and artificial intelligence in the field of design and art.
SUPERVISOR

Dr. Zhen Zeng
Zhen Zeng is the dean and associate professor of the Department of Digital Media Art, Design School, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in Design from the College of Design and Innovation, Tongji University. Her research interests are artificial intelligence in design and interaction design. She pays attention to the cross-integration innovation of design, technology and science. She is the cofounder of Creativity-AI-Colab.

Sven Travis
Sven Travis is an associate professor of Computational Media at Parsons The New School for Design. He is former (founding) Dean of the School of Art, Media, and Technology at Parsons. He has taught and administered at Parsons for almost thirty years. He also founded the BFA and MFA degree programs in Design Technology, within which he now and forever (very happily) teaches. He is the cofounder of Creativity-AI-Colab.

Dr. Xi Lyu
Dr. Xi Lyu is a professor and dean of the School of Design, Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. She is a visiting scholar at the State University of New York at Buffalo, a visiting scholar at the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University, and a Ph.D. in Design from Macau University of Science and Technology. She focuses on information architecture and visualization design, interactive experience design, and user experience-based multidisciplinary collaborative interaction design research.

Dr. Xiang Liao
Xiang Liao obtained his PhD degree in the University of Freiburg, Germany. He joined the faculty of Chongqing University in 2018 as Associate Professor. His main research interests are focusing on neuroscience and artificial intelligence, particularly about understanding memory information processing mechanisms in the brain and developing automated tools to analyze neuroimaging data.
